This has been one of the busiest spring seasons that I can recall. Even when I was working for the University, things usually quieted down for a few weeks. The past few years I’ve had more than my share of health issues to deal with, but this year I’m doing well. Except for one bad week where my IBS and fibro flared (an elevator door tried to crush me, triggered a relapse), this has been my most active spring.
Accomplishments (even the small ones)
- Restored my 1961 Heathkit tube amp and matching pre-amp
- Repaired my early 1970s Harmon-Kardon Quadraphonic Stereo
- Rebuilt both of my Windows machines with Windows 10
- Apartment cleaned up and organized
- Replaced the broken antenna and tail light lens on the Audi
- Rebuild my cordless stick vacuum with a new lipo rechargable
- Started a fresh batch of basil (from seed) in the AeroGarden
- Cooking multiple times a week
- Had my most physically active week since early September
- Customizing a cheap headphone tube amp
- Installed Gentoo on my Lenovo ideapad S10 (1.6Ghz Atom, 2GB ram)
I look forward to posting about some of these accomplishments, especially details regarding the vintage electronics work and other tinkering I’ve been doing.
